Bonds,Vick, Jordan and the Media.

Something interesting happens with US when a Black Athlete
stirs up some controversy.

Ideas regarding race that we would normally keep to ourselves
are discussed
on the train, at work at the water cooler and with
our friends.
Regardless as to whether it is a prudent idea at the time.

GET CAKE AND SHUT UP
There is an implicit agreement that Black Male Atheletes are suppose
to make with the American
media once they get cake. Shut the F*ck up.

Don’t agitate.

Most certainly, NEVER, EVA , EVAAAA, speak on racial issues.
And you can get your money and LIVE.

Michael
Jordan anyone?

Word to 40 Million Dollar $laves.

LOVED AND RESENTED
There is something fundamental that one must understand
about what it means to be a Black Male Athlete.

Similar to how the Black family member that goes all the way and
makes it “BIG”, you are both LOVED AND RESENTED by your family.

Black athletes in this country are revered and resented by white folks
and implicitly by Big Media.

BONDS
Did he use them, perhaps?

Bonds said that, to his knowledge, Anderson had only given him legal drugs to treat his arthritis and fatigue, which were especially bad when the Giants would play a day game after a night game. He said the trainer brought the substances to the Giants? clubhouse, where Bonds would use them. ?It was in the ballpark ? in front of everybody,? Bonds testified. ?I mean, all the reporters, my teammates. I mean, they all saw it. I didn?t hide it.? However, Bonds testified that the products didn?t help ease his suffering, and eventually he stopped using them. ?And I was like, to me, it didn?t even work,? he said. ?You know me, I?m 39 years old. I?m dealing with pain. All I want is pain relief, you know? And you know, to recover, you know, night games to day games. It has to be cialis stores practiced before getting indulged into sexual activities to ensure its proper absorption. Sender verify failed: The person getting the generic india levitra e-mail confirms that the mail was sent by a valid party and acceptable IP address. Sometimes impotence canada tadalafil check out for more info due to a physical condition may be worsened by a psychological component. It’s the symbol of youth, health and generic levitra vardenafil success. That?s it. And I didn?t think the stuff worked. I was like, ?Dude, whatever,? but he was my friend. ?? If it?s a steroid, it?s not working,? he told the grand jury.

I have a more questions than answers regarding Steroidgate.

Have others used them? More than likely.

How would the media be treating him now if
the book published last year regarding his steroid
use was never published?

Would the media be more receptive and friendly to
him if HE wasn’t such an outspoken, brash,
and no nonsense communicator with a f*ck you attitude?

Bonds is a bright guy who works incredibly hard to maintain his physical conditioning and almost surely monitors everything he puts into his body. It?s hard to believe that he was taking steroids and didn?t know it. I have no doubt that he?s in incredible pain; 162 games a year for that many years puts a toll on a man. But Anderson is a shady character. Caveat emptor and all that.

Whose interest’s are being served by discrediting Bonds?

Is he talented enough of a player to have plausibly hit
as many home runs, with out steroids?

If so, is this another opportunity for White fans, to
hate on a Black player, re the Love/Resentment relationship.

Where is the tangible evidence that he used them?

Bonds told a U.S. grand jury that he used undetectable steroids known as ?the cream? and ?the clear,? which he received from personal trainer Greg Anderson during the 2003 season. According to Bonds, the trainer told him the substances were the nutritional supplement flaxseed oil and a pain-relieving balm for the player?s arthritis.

And finally, what impact, historically, has steroids had on
a hitters ability to play better?

VICK

Micheal Vick may or may not be culpable in the dog fighting allegations.

I do not buy the reasoning, innocent until proven guilty for two reasons.

The first reason is that VICK, as a Black Male Athlete, cannot believe the hype
and it appears that he has.

He appears to be someone who thinks that he can assert the ostrich
“I didn’t know this was happening on my property” defense.

I detest the ostrich defense.
(In fact, a friend of mine asserted this defense when she rocked with
someone I introduced her to, stating that “She didn’t know I liked him”.
We ain’t cool no more.)

No amount of money can insulate you from accountability.

Black Athelete’s sometimes believe the hype and think they Cake
will protect them. All Bad DUDE.

That is strictly for very powerful men with last names like
Rockefeller, Hilton, Astor and Gonzalez.

The second reason is that the more you have, the more lawyers,
accountants, goons and weed carriers you need to HAVE on the
payroll.
Wheezy and Ja Rule anyone?

Full disclosure, I am an ANIMAL advocate.

I have wondered recently if I should have pursued being a vet,
which is what I wanted to do as a kid. I loved cats.

That being said.

Vick needs, 2 good law firms, Jesus, and a $50K/week PR firm.
