Renina is a thinker, writer, blogger and current doctoral student at the University of Maryland pursing a degree in Women’s Studies.
As a proud alum of Lick Wilmerding High School, and Eugene Lang College (a division of The New School), she has also completed a year at Mills college and had a disastrous and transformative two years at Brooklyn Law School.
Renina is an expert on Black women’s sexuality and pop culture, and race and the future of the city.
She is also currently researching technology and the self concept.
Currently she is working on a short documentary on the history of Black female sexuality, a book comprised of the most popular blog posts from New Model Minority and a website about African American Books.
