The Writers are right Cause if they dont start fighting for the rights to royalties that WILL be paid to networks for online streaming in the future now, theyll never get paid off it.
it was a smart strategic move on their part to nip the networks in the bud with this mess. networks always find a way to get paid, so should the people that keep them in business.
I dont watch TV enough, but i told my brother about the strike and he was like “Oh thats why this and that show had re runs all last week?” i guess it fucked up his entertainment for the entire week.
Thank god the boondocks is drawn and produced in bulk.

The Office is my show & it is affected. But I respect the writers and they are only going after what they are entitled too. You only have to look at the music industry to see what happens when you don’t pay attention to changes in how your product is used.

I’m not to upset about the WGA strike ,there’s not much to watch on tv anyway. As long as I can see my KO (Keith Olberman).
I wish they would strike to the point that I wouldn’t have to see all these ridiculously fake ass “reality” shows.

AND.
When you decide you are going to sue your customers for getting it using the technology.

Most of the shows I watch are on the pay channels…and they haven’t been affected yet. But when they start showing reruns of Nip/Tuck and Dexter I might come in to work wearing a diaper and shoot the place up. The writers are doing the right thing. The old school Hollywood Execs can’t reconcile with technology and the modern times. It’s weird how this thing mirrors the Middle East.
The Minority Reporter says
I’ve been subjected to watching reruns of The Office…which isn’t all that bad. But I agree with the WGA…damn that scab Ellen…I’m just kidding…but it’s effed up how NBC flexed their muscles and fired 102 people who aren’t actors or writers on The Office
